The syringe containing activity and being in the tungsten primary shielding PT358R0 is to be inserted into the cavity of the device. Then the lid is closed and the device containing the syringe with the dose can be easily transported to the patient. The device is designed as a secondary shielding of 40 mm of lead and its dimensions come up to the tungsten shielding of the syringe.

Container Cart
The device provides a safe and simple method of transporting and administering radioactive solutions to patients.
Its purpose is to reduce the risk of exposure and contamination
of employees handling radioactive solutions. It allows maintaining
aseptic conditions when administering the solutions to patients. A
shielded waste container is fitted on the carrying frame of the device,
above the wheels. A replaceable paper cartridge with its own lid can be
freely inserted in the waste container. An easily removable case for a
syringe transport container is mounted in the middle of the frame. An
administering kit stand, with a hinged lid, is mounted on the upper
part of the frame. The administering kit can
be secured from falling off the stand during the transport.
